Throughout my life, I have gone through many stages and lived many different lives. I was a student of art and literature, a companion to many people on their personal journeys through grief; I have witnessed the depths of the human psyche and the depths of suffering, which have had a lasting impact on my perspective on life. Also science—with all its explanations and limitations with that—has always been intertwined with faith, artistic self-realization, and all the meta-levels of existence. Amid all of this, I am a person experiencing life for the first time and wanting to give expression to all these impressions.

In this artist portfolio, I combine writing, craftsmanship, and photography to create unique, expressive projects. I tell stories through words, images, and materials, offering a one-of-a-kind glimpse into my creative work. I place particular emphasis on authenticity, attention to detail, and a clear, personal style.

Passion gives life meaning. That's why I find peace in crafts like painting, embroidery, and knitting. I'm inspired by working with natural materials and by traditional elements such as the patterns found on classic Icelandic sweaters. Preserving centuries-old craft traditions in today's world — with its emphasis on virtuality and the fast-paced nature of consumer goods — is of enormous importance and serves as a statement in my work.
